Photoshop Restoration and Retouching
by Katrin Eismann

Rather than park myself in front of a computer for hours on end, I have been carrying Katrin Eismann's excellent book on long walks in the sunshine, where I can best see the very effectively-presented color photographs. Her approach to many adjustment problem is to use adjustment layers, and she shows you exactly how to do it step by step. I have been using Photoshop since version 4, and I have found many valuable techniques in this book. "Aha!" I find myself saying, as I walk along in the bright sunshine.

If you plan to do any retouching, restoration, or color balancing, this is the book for you. I ordered it on the strength of the reviews at amazon.com, which I recommend you go read, and I was not a bit disappointed.

Picture yourself over at amazon.com, ordering a retouched and more-beautiful copy of Photosho Restoration and Retouching by Katrin Eismann.
