Dreamland

Joe Irene and I had a meal together, and I stayed behind in the restaurant to pay the bill. The check was for around 234 dollars. Quite expensive for three!

I took out my keys, had my keys and a few coins in my pocket, the waiter said, “over here, you can do it yourself,” and we went over to a counter and I took out my small wallet with the credit card in it.

Before that ...there was something about a leftover grapefruit or maybe a blueberry scone with powdered sugar on it.
