The Winged Victory of Samothrace, discovered in pieces in 1863, transported to Paris and re-assembled at the Louvre, where it is now on display.

A butterfly
This butterfly was collected by Joseph O.L. Girton in the Spring of 1997. To be more accurate, it was collected while a caterpillar, then becoming a chrysalis entered the pupa state, eventually to metamorphose into the pictured butterfly.
