Driving along, I couldn't stop the Mitsubishi easily for the entire dream. This is a recurring dream but the brakes were much worse than usual.

As chance would have it, another element entered into the driving. Some oars were sticking out perpendicular from the rear of the Montero, one on each side, and I was headed right for a young teenage boy on the right side of the road.

He didn't get out of the way or didrn't see th oar -- whatever, but the oar conked him in the arm and fell off the car. I had an impulse to drive off, but stopped and got out (the brakes worked fine in this instance) to see if he was okay. He was rubbing his arm or shoulder where the har had hit him and was ok, but I believe didn't credit his own responsibility in the incident.
