My Amazing Human Body

Seymour Skinless (Arthur Sanpeau in the French version of the program) is a skeletal professor extraordinaire. He's a high-kinetic-energy bundle of bones, with more than a trick or two up his, uh, sleeve.

He runs a 20-question quiz in which you collect body parts by answering multiple choice questions. If you don't know the answer, the means are provided for you to look it up.

There are other activities provided in which you can race against the clock. Or just put the parts together all wrong, and then print it out. Put the kidneys on top, Ha ha! There's a personal journal in which your kid fills out his height, weight, and so forth; a game where you dress Seymour up in funny clothes and make a slide show; and myriad other activities. It's all quite amusing.

But this is all easy to use. If your child can read, he can operate this program all by himself.

This CD Rom is for Windows 95, 98 and NT. More than just a content "repurposing" from the educational publishing powerhouse Dorling Kindersley, this CD is well designed and has real staying power. Highly recommended.
