July 14 has come and gone, and about all I have to show for it is a defragmented Windows disk, and a successfully installed Service Pack 4. Allons Enfants indeed! It all began when I asked my son to re-install his math software on the kitchen computer. More the fool, I!
If I had thought to check the diagnostic program carefully before beginning, I wouldn't have been influenced by the spurious "CD ROM drive has been uninstalled" error message that popped up when the CD reader timed out on the defective CD. And I wouldn't have had to install the new service pack either, if I hadn't un-installed some stuff that took out something essential, spewing forth another doom-and-gloom error message that turned out to make no difference. Isn't this fascinating? An evening essentially wasted when I could have been playing mumbledy-peg or walking the dog around the neighborhood. Listen, I'll make it up to you somehow: Here is a list of some bluetooth phones that currently exist. Bluetooth phones include: Nokia 3650 / 6310i / Sony Ericsson P800 / R520
/ T39m / T61d / T68 / T68i / T68m / T608 / T610 / T616 / LG VX9000 /
Siemens S56. I saw an advertisement for the S56 and nowhere in the ad did it mention bluetooth -- full-color photos of the phone appeared twice. Goes to show, they're just not selling technology these days. They're selling color phones with internet connections.
