The man who has been practicing hacky-sack (footbag kicking) was doing something new today, something I have never seen. He had a long brush, about a meter long, and a gallon jug of water.

He was dipping the brush into the water, and writing long strings of ideographic writing on the sidewalk. It was beautiful, but by now of course it has evaporated.
