What's on the menu?

Last week's menu was planned mostly by Joe. We took the red cabbage with us a potluck dinner. We're on the move! The mussels and pasta turned out extremely well. We also decorated Easter eggs, which were not on the menu.

With Irene still out of town, Joe and I hammered out another menu coming week: March 23 through 30, with an emphasis on leftovers and available food material.

Sunday

Garbanzo Humus (Chick-Peas) on Tortillas
The Brilliant Bean, p. 60
kiwi fruit slices

Monday

Pasta with Tuna and Fresh Basil
Green peas
Cooking with Five Ingredients or Less,p. 131.

Tuesday

Macaroni and cheese.
artichokes (4)

Wednesday

Crusty swordfish & pineapple chunks
Unknown vegetable surprise
We pick up the swordfish on Wednesday so it's fresh.

Thursday

Baked beans
corn bread

Friday

Pasta Putanesca
artichoke hearts

Saturday

Spaghetti and Meatballs
Fennel and mushroom salad w/ parmesan chips
