What's on the menu ?

Well, I survived last week in solitude, but just barely. In a better world I wouldn't have thrown my back out and would have gone to Paris with Joe and Irene. Somehow it seemed that I was eating leftovers all week, but how could this be? After an exhilirating morning of Joe-devised French vocabulary exercises, Joe and I hammered out THIS week's menu, October 25 through October 31, then went shopping to get the ingredients.
